As the largest provider of behavioral health services in South Jersey, our multidisciplinary treatment teams work closely with Rowan University-School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan-SOM), to provide state-of-the-art psychiatric treatment, nursing care, psychotherapy and social services. Jefferson Behavioral Health Services provides care in intensive inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization care.

We treat children as young as kindergarten, along with adolescents, adults, and older adults, professionals and other high-functioning adults with alcohol and drug addictions. Our goal is to address the most important and personal needs of our clients to help improve their coping skills, increase their level of functioning and more fully enjoy their life.

Jefferson Health has received Joint Commission accreditation, which is awarded to hospitals and health care organizations that visibly demonstrate an ongoing commitment to safe, high-quality care, treatment and services.
Jefferson’s program is also licensed and monitored under:
- The Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS)
- The Division of Addiction Services (DAS)
- The Department of Children and Families (DCF)
The DMHAS, DAS and DCF’s licensing and regulatory processes support the provision of a safe environment where consumers receive appropriate services.
