Interventional Neurosurgery Suite
The Jefferson Neuroscience Center of Southern New Jersey, a member of the Jefferson Neurosciences Network (JNN), opened its new $5.7-million Interventional Neurosurgery Suite at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital on November 9, 2011. This 1,098-square-foot hybrid suite features Phillips Allura Xper Bi-Plane 3-D intervention radiology imaging equipment, the latest neurosurgical equipment, along with Stryker video integration.
The Interventional Neurosurgery Suite is the latest concept in providing expedited care for patients requiring neurovascular intervention. This new hybrid OR allows the patient to be diagnosed and treated with either minimally invasive interventional procedures or open surgery in one room. Having the latest surgical and biplane imaging in one room, provides a safer environment for the patient (as there is no need to transport to another room), while allowing doctors to work more expediently, by allowing quick conversion from interventional to open procedures if needed.

Philips Allura Xper Biplane 3-D Equipment
Performing Neurovascular Interventions with Complete Confidence and Control
The biplane neuro X-ray system features two large flat detectors, each with a complete 2k virtually distortion-free imaging chain. It redefines image clarity and captures information at a resolution four times greater than conventional X-ray systems to support confident decision making. Physicians can work swiftly and surely with the intuitive and ergonomically designed Philips Xper User Interface.
Biplane Neuro X-ray System Offers Enhanced Guidance Support
Dynamic 3D roadmap and XperGuide give you Live 3D guidance capabilities that provide excellent clinical insight and enhanced navigation for tortuous vasculature. XperCT provides CT-like imaging in the neuro suite that enables clinicians to assess soft tissue, bone structure and other body structures before, during or after an interventional procedure. All controlled tableside on the biplane neuro X-ray system.

Stryker Connected OR Operating System
Our OR integration, with its intuitive workflow and safety features, allows nurses to focus on delivering the highest level of patient care rather than managing the nuances of the surgical space.
Stryker's iSuite powered by the Connected OR operating system provides control and customization of compatible equipment from a single, intuitive touchscreen. Our goal is to increase efficiency and satisfaction by simplifying workflows, streamlining communication and connecting surgeons, staff and patients.
